Adventure Yoga workshops are alignment-infused, active, intelligently sequenced, instructional classes led by Stephen Ewashkiw

 

Hey. What's up? I'm Stephen Ewashkiw (eee-wash-key), travelling yoga teacher and adventure seeker. I help my students find the courage and strength to live their own adventures – that's why I call it Adventure Yoga.

We should all get to live our best lives, our OWN lives. At my workshops, you will learn that you can.

When you study with me I'm going to demand your attention and an open mind. In my classes, I use clear instructions and demos to teach you how to skilfully refine your poses and improve your technique. You’ll also learn anatomy and alignment while developing mindfulness skills you can use in yoga class and in your life off of the mat. Come prepared to work hard and come prepared to have fun.

Adventure Yoga Meditation - Deepen Your Knowledge 

During this workshop we'll move a little, talk a little, and practice a few different ways that you can bring meditation into your life. It is challenging to make time to "just sit down" for a few minutes, and in this workshop you will learn techniques to make this easier.

Saturday: 10:00 - 12:30 pm  (11th Feb)

Align & Refine, Part 1 - Alignment-infused Workshop

In this 2.5 hour Hatha workshop you will learn more about anatomy, refine your alignment, and tap into your own strength and courage. We will focus on shoulders and upper back.

Form & Flow Alignment-infused Vinyasa class

Yoga is not just action, it's skill in action. In this Adventure Yoga vinyasa workshop you will learn to be more conscious of your actions so you can get into your flow safely and with skill.

 Sunday: 10:00 - 12:30 pm (12th Feb)

Align & Refine, Part 2 - Alignment-infused Workshop

In this 2.5 hour Hatha workshop you will learn more about anatomy, refine your alignment, and tap into your own strength and courage. We will focus on the internal and external rotators of the hip.

Sunday: 2:00 - 4:30 pm (12th Feb)

Adventure Yoga Mediation - Story Time & Meditation

This workshop will mix in some movement (asana) with stories from the Ganesh myth and how the symbolism relates to our modern lives. The session will end with time to sit and contemplate some of the ideas that come up in the conversation.
