This event is open to anyone who is heading to the West Cork Yoga Festival - Celebrating Yoga and Life! this year and would like to touch base with others before the event, make some new friends & come to a Free yoga class :) You do not need any yoga experience to come along. It will be a fun and light-hearted class ultimately giving us the chance to connect....

This event is FREE but as I love the work that Claire and Bella are doing with Yoga for refugees in Amman. I will have a donation box and you can “Feel Free to DONATE” if you wish, if you do not there is no pressure to do so. You can check out the work they are doing on the FB link above :)
A little more info ..... :)
When I heard about the West Cork Yoga Festival last year Summer 2015, I was so exited and I was REALLY keen to go but was a little apprehensive because I didn't know anything about the festival and not a soul heading to the festival. I had just returned from living in New Zealand after 4 years living away from home and though I was really into Yoga my friends were not keen on the idea of spending 3 days camping at a Yoga Festival...! However, as this is my idea of heaven, I decided to face my fears, jump into the unknown and buy a ticket. And so it unfolded, my aunt knew another person heading to the festival and I was blessed to be able to connect with another west Cork Festival Goer before the event :) Thinking back on my experience last year I am so grateful for that connection and really want to pay it forward… and so my idea of having a Pre West Cork Yoga Festival/Mix n’ Mingle/Yoga Flow Class was born :)
If you are on the fence about going to the festival, I urge you to take a leap into the unknown and figure it out along the way, I did last year and it proved to be a wonderful experience.
The thing I loved most about the festival was the sense of community... the West Cork Yoga teachers coming together to share all their wonderful talents with the wider community in the most beautiful setting an Seanctoir. There was so many different styles of yoga to explore, meditations, nature walks, talks from guest speakers, kirtan, dancing, singing skilled healers and therapists and lots more. Honestly sometimes I found it hard to decide where to go and what to do at certain times there was so much on offer.
So, If you have read this far congratulations for reaching the end .... :) & I hope this is the beginning... for us to connect before the festival and if not before, connect while we are there and if not there then maybe will connect someday :)
with love, Helena xx
