Restorative yoga is a gentle, mindful, nurturing practice that anyone (even complete beginners, recovering from injury, ill health or just to balance a busy life.) Release anxiety the natural way. In busy lives, it's important to allow the body to rest & replenish it's self. Restorative Yoga encourages deep rest in supported postures to completely relax with bolsters, blankets. Using Mindfulness to bring awareness of the breath moving in & out of the body, the sensations we are experiencing & delving into peace within. The body releases in a passive way calming the nervous system. These easy yoga postures supported by props, using no muscular effort, focusing on relieving the grip of muscular & inner tension, releasing habitual ways of holding. An incredible system to heal the body, restoratives stimulate the relaxation response, balancing nervous system, optimising energy flow to the organs. Boost immune function & enhance digestion, to repair & restore vitality.
There is no muscular effort so tension & stress is gently released encouraging you to feel refreshed & rejuvenated. Creating equilibrium & balance

Eileen Riordan O’Sullivan is certified in Yoga & Pilates, enjoys teaching a lighthearted, creative practice of breath work, meditation, Therapeutic, flow, Pre-Natal, Yoga Nidra, Yin & Restorative yoga. Mother of three, yoga a strong anchor in life, both as a "Mammy" & crediting yoga breathing to relieve asthma, & mindfulness in challenging times. A innate curiosity ensures life long learning, continuously evolving & exploring mind & body connections in practice & training.
